RMIT Student Hub
Hinge Architects designed the adaptation and reactivation of two abutting warehouse shells as a flexible facility for students.
The project adopted a deliberate spatial strategy of ‘colour coding’: spotlights and fragments of colour were thrown against the floor, walls and ceiling to subdivide the large open plan.
Koskela supplied furniture that is robust yet flexible, which enables students to adapt the space as they wish.
